Birthday Glam!

Heyyyyy guys!

So today's post is about my birthday glam! im going to talk about my outfit and makeup in detail, as I did get a few questions about them. Firstly can I just say once again, my family and friends never fail to make my special day the most amazing ever, so grateful, الحمد لله. (check out my Instagram- misha_x for birthday pictures!) ^-^

(Dress - Miss Selfridge)

I feel that a midi dress is the most feminine and pretty piece a girl could wear on her birthday, haha! but that's just my opinion. I absolutely adoooore this jacquard black and gold dress with a hint of silver detail, it has a very vintage esque which i absolutely love, a pair of simple black heels matched perfectly. The bronze floral print is exactly what inspired my whole makeup look.

Makeup

I started off with my normal go to heavy base and kept it quite dewy by the help of mac fix plus. I swear by my 'naked palette', it consists of the perfect classic nudes that you can never go wrong with, I love how you can use it for a heavy look too!

Firstly I applied a mix of 'virgin' and 'sin' on my brow bone, and the inner corners to highlight and brighten up the area, I cannot stress how much of a difference a highlight on the inner corner makes, it instantly mimics a larger eye. Moving on, I applied 'buck' and 'naked' in the crease to create depth in the eye. And 'half baked' on the lid to add a pop of gold.

Then line your lid with your favourite eye liner, and i've been loving a 'white eye pencil' in the water line, this again makes a huge difference on the appearance of a bigger eye, I also love adding a 'black kohl' below the white it just on the outer corners.
lastly the answer to one of my most asked questions, which lashes I use? Well I found a very cheap and cheerful DIY. All you need to do is cut any 'primark' lashes in half and shaped them so that they are longer on the ends and shorter at the front, this gives an effect of elongated eyes and fluttery lashes that look pretty natural and not too obvious. ta daaaa :D

To complete the look I lined my lips with 'boldly bare' and filled with 'velvet teddy' and then mixed several other colours, im sorry I can never be happy with just one colour on my lips.(>。<)

I honestly hope that this post was useful, especially because of the amount of birthdays and party's that will be coming up this season.
